Hello, Goodbye!

Good morning, good morning.

How are you?

I'm fine! What about you?

  Let's Read -

The Bear

I live with my mother, father, brother,

two sisters, and our two pets.

I go to school every morning

and learn numbers and my ABC's.

I read stories and draw pictures of green mountains and the sea.

In the afternoons, I come home and eat a delicious snack.

I do my homework, too, under my mother's watchful eye.

When I'm finished, I play!

I fly an airplane that soars very high

I play with a ball that bounce and rolls,

and a car that runs ever so fast.

But best of all my toys, I have an old, stuffed bear.

It has green fur and brown eyes and

soft yellow pawn and ears.

Today I have come home early.

But I can't find my bear anywhere!

I even forget about my snack. I search

for my bear everywhere!

Oh, how sad I am today!

I don't ever want to play again.

But then Mother comes in and smiles.

Oh, there it is! She is holding my precious bear!
