Sunday at the
beach
Families are different. Families are fun!
They are always made up of more than one!
We are four in my
family:
Mama, Papa, my baby
brother, and me.
It's Sunday. We are
bored. What can we do?
We decide to get
some air for an hour or two.
We go to the beach
in our big blue van.
With our buckets and
shovels, we dig in the sand.
We
bring our very favorite lunch to eat:
peanut butter
sandwiches and banana treats!
My baby brother jabs
at his big beach ball.
Meanwhile, Papa and
I play volleyball.
We see boats sailing
in the deep blue sea.
The baby sleeps in
his crib under a coconut tree!
When the sun goes
down, we are left alone.
We grab our beach
bags and head for home!
My family is happy.
We had a great day!
The beach is the
best place for a hot Sunday!
We pile in the van
and fasten our seat belts.
Then we buy vanilla
ice cream and rush home before it melts!
In the bathtub I rub
away the sand and dirt.
Then I put on a
velvet vest and a violet shirt.
To Grandma's house
we go to eat ribs, ride bicycles, watch videos, and play.
A beautiful visit to
end a perfect day!
