An Organic Farm

Proyecto Salón Hogar

Three years ago , we changed our farm to an organic farm. We made a lot of changes. We picked up all the garbage and planted trees around the fields. We stopped using chemicals to kill the insects that ate the crops. Birds and animals came to live in the trees and bushes, and they ate the insects.

We started using natural fertilizers, and we put many worms into the soil. Worms help keep the soil healthy, and they are good for plants. We don't grow as much now, but the farm looks really beautiful and we are helping to save the planet. I think that's cool!
